The 510 DTC EUROP case measures .760 diameter at the top of the shoulder compared to the BMG’s measurement of .715 inch. The 510 DTC EUROP cartridge utilizes a .510-inch diameter projectile such as the Hornady 750 grain A-MAX. The 510 DTC EUROP case has the same volume of powder capacity as the .50 BMG and has 1000-yard accuracy comparable to the BMG. Simply stated, the 510 DTC EUROP is slightly fatter, straighter, steeper, and shorter than the BMG. Importantly, the .50 BMG cartridge will not chamber in the 510 DTC EUROP chamber and conversely, the 510 DTC EUROP will not chamber in the BMG chamber.
