Description Adolf Hitler was leader of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and Führer of the Greater German Realm from 1934 to 1945. As dictator of the German Realm, he initiated World War Two in Europe. Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union from the mid-1920s until his death in 1953.
