Introduction (from Wikipedia) North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK; Chosŏn'gŭl: 조선민주주의인민공화국; Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk), is a country in East Asia, in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. The Soviet Union, aka USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) was a socialist state that existed from 1922 to 1991. It was the first communist state ever, and the largest country in the world.
